If you’re looking for a warm, healthy meal to keep you cozy during the colder months, this Turkey and Sweet Potato Crockpot Chili is a must-try! Not only is it delicious and packed with nutrients, but it’s also super convenient to make in a crockpot—perfect for meal prepping and enjoying throughout the week.
I’ve been making chili almost every week this winter, and I never get tired of it! It’s become a go-to because I can easily pack it for work or reheat it for lunch or dinner after a busy day. The best part? All the ingredients just get tossed into the crockpot, and four hours later, you have a hearty, flavorful meal.
I also alternate between this chili recipe and my Turkey and Quinoa Crockpot Chili. They’re quite similar, but each offers its own unique flavor and texture. Both are equally satisfying!

Why You’ll Love This Chili
Not only is this Turkey and Sweet Potato Chili easy to make, but it’s also full of nutrients that support a balanced diet:
• Sweet potatoes are a fantastic source of Vitamin A and C, providing immune-boosting benefits.
• Ground turkey is a great lean protein option that keeps you full without the extra fat. If you prefer, ground chicken works just as well in this recipe.
• Black beans add both protein and fiber, making this chili a filling and well-rounded meal.
• Tomatoes bring in even more Vitamin A and C, along with a rich, tangy flavor.
Toppings to Elevate Your Chili
What’s chili without toppings? My go-to combination includes sliced avocado for some creaminess, a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (a perfect substitute for sour cream), and a handful of crunchy tortilla chips on the side. And if you’re like me and enjoy your chili with a kick, don’t forget to drizzle some sriracha for that extra heat!
I hope you love this recipe as much as I do! It’s such a versatile dish that works for both busy weekdays and lazy weekends.
