Healthy Breakfast Banana Split

Dessert for breakfast?! Yes please! This healthy banana split can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes and can be enjoyed guilt free!

Do you remember ordering a banana split from your favorite ice cream shop as a kid? Bananas and ice cream topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and crushed nuts. Yum! Today I’m sharing a healthier version that can be enjoyed for breakfast or as a healthy afternoon snack!

When I’m in a hurry and have nothing prepped for breakfast, this banana split is always one of my favorite options. It’s also great for moms who are trying to get their kids to eat something healthy for breakfast! The kids can also join in assembling the banana split!

The only ingredients in this recipe include: sliced banana, greek yogurt, granola, berries, and your favorite superfoods! I love adding chia seeds, shredded coconut, and cacao nibs to this recipe. You can also change it up and added crushed nuts, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate chips, or a drizzle of nut butter. If you’re plant- based, feel free to use your favorite plant- based yogurt.

HOW TO MAKE A HEALTHY BANANA SPLIT
This recipe is so easy to throw together. Honestly I wouldn’t even call this a recipe. There’s only 3 simple steps:

  1. Slice open a ripe banana lengthwise.
  2. Top banana with Greek yogurt.
  3. Top the yogurt with berries, granola, and your favorite superfoods and dig in!
