Favorite Ocean Beaches

– Marconi Beach: Stunning views and great waves for surfing with plenty of parking.

– Nauset Light Beach: The famous Nauset lighthouse. Be sure to get there early, parking fills up fast

– Coast Guard Beach: Requires a shuttle ride, but the scenery and surf are worth it. The best part about this beach? The walk to the end. Take a right once you get onto the beach and keep going. The views are incredible.

Favorite Bayside Beaches

– Rock Harbor: Perfect for sunset views and calm waters.

– Campground Beach: Ideal for families with younger children due to its gentle waves.

Things to Do

– Visit Provincetown: Known for its vibrant arts scene, unique shops, and great dining.

– What Watching: Tours depart from Provincetown and Hyannis.

– Explore Chatham: Spend a day exploring this charming town with its beautiful beaches and historic lighthouse. The downtown area offers great shops and restaurants!

– Take a Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket: Both islands offer a picturesque escape with beautiful beaches and quaint towns.

– Bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail: Enjoy 25 miles of scenic trails that wind through Cape Cod.

– Hiking: Discover scenic trails at Nickerson State Park in Brewster or the Great Island Trail in Wellfleet.

– Mini Golf at Arnold’s: Fun for the whole family, followed by delicious seafood and ice cream.

– Drive-In Movies in Wellfleet: Experience a nostalgic night out at one of the country’s oldest drive-in theaters. Fun fact- I saw the original Hocus Pocus there many many years ago when it first came out.

– Cape Cod Baseball League: watch a summer game featuring college athletes!

– Truro Vineyards: Enjoy a wine tasting and tour in a beautiful setting.

– Cape Cod National Seashore: Some of the best beaches in the country! Stretching from Chatham to Provincetown and includes the beaches mentioned above.

Places to Eat

– Caroline’s in Eastham: A local favorite for fresh, delicious meals, outdoor dining, and live music. They’re know for their seafood and highly recommend trying their margarita flight.

– The Fairway: Known for its hearty breakfasts and casual dining.

– The Red Barn: Our family favorite for salad and pizza.

– Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar: Famous for its seafood and the BEST ice cream in town. My personal favorite flavors: snickers and pistashio,  yum!

– The Beachcomber: A must-visit for its lively atmosphere and excellent seafood.

– Hole in One (Eastham and Orleans): The go-to spot for the best donuts and coffee.

– Sam’s Deli: Don’t miss out on the best sandwiches before hitting the beach.

– The Chocolate Sparrow: Popular cafe known for its cozy atmosphere, pastries, fudge, coffee, hot chocolate, and ice cream. A family favorite after watching the sunset!
